About Laci

My name is Laci Matthews and I am an 18 year old graphic design student!

Since I got my first camera in the end of 2021, I have been gaining knowledge and experience in Photography and Videography. I taught myself to edit videos in 2019 and have been interested in media since then. When I received my first camera I started my Instagram page, taking photos for my high school's basketball team. Since then I have expanded into shooting for small businesses in my community, shooting other schools' sports, formal portraits, family photos, etc and started to grow my little Instagram page into a small business.

I have had a passion for horses all of my life, and try to prioritize them in my photography! I have 9 years of riding experience and have been around horses since I was 4 years old. I have worked for Natalie Suto Photography at Tryon International Equestrian Center doing equine sports photography, where I gained a lot of my experience. This being said, equine sports and portraits are my absolute favorite, and I hope you'll consider me for any of your equine related photography! 

I love experimenting with new things in my photography; trying new styles and types of shoots. I'd love to continue to build my portfolio with all types of sports, portraits, creative shoots, etc!
